On Tuesday, July 18, Handprints of Hope received a “BIG” check donation. Mark Massa at Summit Funding generously donated $1,250 to our first annual Best Ball for Babies!
Co-founder Wendy posted on her Facebook, “Thank you to Mark, Melissa and #TeamMassa -Summit Funding for your support of Handprints of Hope!! We truly appreciate it! Mark and his team helped us finance and refinance our first home. They also helped finance our new home. Definitely call them if you are looking to buy or refinance! They are the best!”
Mark Massa later responded, “Thank you Wendy! We feel honored to be able to give to an amazing organization as Handprints of Hope as well as to help all of our clients with their home loan needs.”
What a great circle of community care between a company taking care of people’s dreams to own homes, and those home owners helping to take care of NICU families through the success and generosity of people like the Massas and the staff at Summit Funding!
Handprints of Hope is deeply moved by, and indebted to, the magnanimity of Summit Funding!

Happy 3 year home-iversary to Sarah!! After 157 days in the NICU, Sarah came home to make our family complete. Today she is a little peanut that runs, plays, talks up a storm and knows almost all the letters of the alphabet when she sees them. So proud of our little fighter.
Our website is finally up and dynamic! We’ll be using this website to keep you informed of all the events and fundraisers and news that is going on with Handprints of Hope! We hope you’ll stop by often. Blog posts will be up on the home page so you can easily stay up-to-date!
Having experienced the hardships of NICU life, especially not very close to home, the Pennington and Wold families look forward to caring for local families going through the same!
